Dear Friends and Family,  

It’s that time of year again! We are holding our Annual Bread of Life Giving Backpack Giveaway. Bread Of life Giving is a 501(c)(3) organization seeking to make positive footprints in our society and local community.  Since its inception more than 30 years ago through generous donations and with the help of dedicated volunteers, our organization has prepared and delivered meals and provided much needed warm clothing to thousands of unhoused individuals in the South Bay area.  

In 2020, as another means of support we incorporated an annual backpack giveaway. Each backpack contains essential personal hygiene and general health care items. Our 2023 goal is to deliver at least 100 backpacks to unhoused individuals living in various South Bay campsites. We would also like to include new or slightly used sleeping bags and tents in this year’s giveaway. We sincerely hope that you will consider partnering with us to help us reach our 2023 goal!  

There are a few different ways that you can participate in this year’s giveaway, and they are listed below. You may:

       • Purchase gifts from our Amazon wish list (Bread of life Giving  - Amazon Gift List - https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/1RC47BWCXCFAA 

       • Make a monetary donation. Donations can be sent via Zelle (408-417-9455 breadoflifegiving.org (http://breadoflifegiving.org/)) or mailed to Bread of Life Giving P.O. Box 3732 San Jose, CA 96156-3732

       • Purchase a new sleeping bag or tent (from our Amazon wish list) or purchase a slightly used sleeping bags or tent at any Goodwill or thrift store. Send purchased items to the P.O. Box address listed above.

       • Tell others about our organization and how they can also help to support our efforts in the South Bay area community.  

 

To assist us in providing a 501(c)3 donation receipt, please be sure to include your name and contact details on all gifts purchased.
